The University of Cadiz was founded in 1979 to promote education, research and transfer. It plays an essential role in the economic, social and environmental development of our territory, generating wealth and employment through the training of people, the promotion of solidarity and entrepreneurial culture, quality, innovation, excellence and internationalisation in all its dimensions.

The international impact of the research and transfer activities of the University of Cadiz is a primary objective of our institution, present in 4 campuses, Bahía de Algeciras, Cádiz, Jerez and Puerto Real, and made up of more than 25,000 people.

In addition, we have a general research support service where the main scientific equipment of the institution is centralised (Central Service of Science and Technology); as well as a scientific production portal that helps to know the different research groups and allows access to all the research activity of the institution.

At the University of Cadiz we have a support service for researchers dedicated to promoting, informing and advising researchers in the search for funding and partners to increase their participation in R&D&I projects at European and international level.
